Staycord Privacy Policy

Summary

Staycord is a local-first hotel stay tracker. Your stay records are stored on your device unless you choose to export or share them. Staycord does not currently require an account, run ads, sell personal data, or operate a Staycord cloud sync service.

Data You Add

You may add hotel names, brands, cities, countries, stay dates, notes, ratings, costs, coordinates, and imported CSV/JSON records. This data is stored locally in your browser or Android WebView storage.

Import, Export, and Deletion

Staycord lets you import records from local files, export your records, delete individual stays, and clear current local data. Exported files are controlled by you.

Network Requests

The app may load map rendering code and map tiles from third-party providers such as MapLibre, CARTO, and OpenStreetMap-related infrastructure. If you open an external Google Maps link, the place or coordinate query is sent to Google Maps.

No Account, Ads, or Payment

Staycord currently does not provide user accounts, advertising, in-app purchases, or payment processing.

Feedback

If you send feedback by email, your email address and message are handled by your email provider and the recipient email service. Do not include sensitive information unless you want it included in that email.
